Mosquito bites are not only annoying and itchy, they are pretty well infectious and can spread contagious and dangerous diseases like Malaria, Dengue, Yellow fever, Zika, West Nile virus, Chikungunya, and a load of other infections too. It’s time to know some facts about the mosquito bites. Female mosquitoes alone have a long syringe like mouthpiece which is capable of piercing the skin to let them to consume blood some mosquitoes may be harmless but most of them are harmful. But, the female mosquitoes inject their saliva before sucking our blood. So that it acts as a anticoagulant that dissolves blood clots for the mosquitoes safety. We experience itch when histamines in our body try to fight the protein left by these mosquitoes.
It’s pretty obvious now that the diseases spread from the saliva the mosquitoes leave in our body. So, would anyone of us can allow this to happen to us or our loved ones? It’s essential that we can educate our little ones about the seriousness in a mosquito bite and keep them safe from these infectious and life threatening mosquito bites.

The Indian way
Neem is traditionally used as a natural mosquito repellent for long. Neem trees are planted almost in every home. Burning dry leaves chase away the mosquitoes. Neem essential oil was used as natural mosquito repellent even for children. Neem trees grow easily and are quite common. So, they can grow typically almost in all parts of the world as they can tolerate coolness till 50C. Neem has other health properties too. It works very well against skin ulcers and other allergies. Hence it can also contain the itch and irritations on skin. Is there any more reason to decide that neem is the best available mosquito repellent?
